Members Attend The NYS Fire Academy

From January 20-22, 2017 members of the Buchanan Engine Company attended the Ice/Cold Water Rescue- Technician level class at the New York State Fire Academy located in Montour Falls, NY in Schuyler County. Members spent over 10 hours with hands on experience in Ice Rescue and over 6 hours in a classroom portion. This is the first time in the department we have qualified Ice/Cold Water Rescue Techs.
