Today at 0946 am E-160, R-26, 2551 and 2552 responded to Albany Post Rd just south of fire headquarters for a car fire. E-160 confirmed the working car fire upon arrival, an 1-3/4" attack line was pulled and the fire quickly extinguished. Then at 1021 am we were dispatched to 142 Bannon Ave for an automatic fire alarm. The cause was determined to be burnt food on the stove. The apartment was ventilated and units were placed back in service.
