Structure Fire

Just after 1:00pm, our department was dispatched to a reported basement fire. As some of our units were already at the firehouse, our Chiefs were on location under two minutes from dispatch and a working fire assignment was transmitted, and it was unknown immediately if there was anyone in the house. AC Outhouse entered the structure immediately and conducted a primary search with negative results. Units remained on scene for over three hours, with units from Verplanck, Montrose, Croton-on-Hudson, Millwood, Continental Village, the Montrose VA, Yorktown, as well as Cortlandt EMS, Peekskill EMS.

Thankfully there were no injuries and the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
