At 0723 hrs Saturday morning Cars 2551 (Bayer) 2552 (Outhouse) 2554 (Park) and Utility's 161 and UTV 162 responded mutual aid to Montrose FD at Blue Mountain reservation near the pipeline construction for a large brush fire. We were on scene for about 8 hours assisting our neighbors extinguishing multiple fires, making fire lines, cutting down trees and hitting hotspots. Other departments we worked with today included Verplanck, Continental Village, Millwood and Croton. There were multiple fires deep into the difficult terrain and all departments did a great job working together.
